Kimwood can recondition / rebuild virtually any piece of equipment from our variety of product lines as we maintain a massive library of all the original OEM drawings originally used to produce that piece of equipment. In a typical reconditioning, the frame and all supporting parts will be completely disassembled, cleaned and inspected. This is inclusive of all frame and operating components. Each part and or subassembly is reviewed and a determination is made on its condition. Following this, all parts and sub-assemblies are either reconditioned or replaced as necessary. Individual parts are then routed to the appropriate departments for rework and or replacement and then eventually primed, painted and reassembled. Prior to shipment all operating systems of the piece of equipment will be tested. Upgrades / Retrofits (mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and safety based) can be included as part of this process also.
