Air Operated Side Head Chipbreaker Retro-Fit
This Outside Head Air Operated Chipbreaker assembly replaces the existing spring-loaded chipbreaker assembly and intermediate holdover device. This assembly includes air tensioning of the chipbreaker arm providing constant pressure on material regardless of variations and a hydraulic cylinder that is adjustable for tension that absorbs instantaneous shocks from the material going through.
This upgrade is available for 612A, 612A1, 612MA, 612MA1, 612C, 612C1, 612CT, 612CT1, 614D, 614D1, 616A & 616A1 Model Planers.
This Outside Head Air Operated Chipbreaker assembly for the 610A1 planer differs from the above by replacing some of the existing spring-loaded components allowing the conversion to air. The existing sliding arm & shoe will continue to be used while the pivoting arm has been designed to accommodate the use of an air cylinder. This air operated assembly provides constant pressure on material.
